Surprise
So, I'm finding myself a little nervous before
the hip replacement surgery and I'm putting worry and fear under my feet. I go
to the grocery store with $66.05 to pay and find my credit card is rejected.
Twice! So I get out a check and the address doesn't match my driver's license
because I'm too cheap to not use up the old checks. They reject it and say I'm
not in their system. Ok then. . . I
apologize and say I have no other way to pay and I'm sorry but they'll have to
put the groceries back. The lady behind me says, put it on my card. Wow! I
offer to write a check to her and she says, "no, just pass it
on." I leave with all my free
groceries, thanking and praising God, reassured that not only does He see me,
but that there are still incredibly nice people out there.
Sometimes when it seems all dark people around you there is still hope, always someone there to help or a friend to meet.
